The Institute for Safe Medication Practices and ECRI compiled their annual report detailing the top 10 patient safety concerns challenging healthcare facilities and providers. Despite these serious challenges, the report also discusses possible opportunities for healthcare leaders to make effective changes through actionable recommendations as a way to lower risk and improve patient safety outcomes.

Their Top 10 Patient Safety Concerns List** for 2024 includes:
